Zachary Xylon Bogert, born February 7th, 1997, left this world on December 22nd, 2020. For the family and friends he loved so dearly, so unconditionally, this was far too soon. Zach had a smile that lit up the room and a sneaky, dry sense of humor that grabbed your funny bone before you knew what hit you. He was "funny but didn't know it."
He was intelligent, passionate, and quirky. He loved math and chemistry, nutrition and exercise, and saving the ocean. He loved fishing, the lake house, road trips, being with his family and hanging with "The Neighbors." He loved animals: Paul (and his primordial pouch), Norman, and Owen get a special mention.
Zach joins his sister, Devyn Howery and is survived by a host of family, who are also his dearest friends: His mother, Tracy Bean (married to James Bean) and father, Nicholas Bogert; siblings, Nicholas, Brianna, and Cannon Bogert, Theo and Levi Paris, George and August Bloom; step-brother, Emerson Bean; step-sister, Bella Bogert; and honorary sister, Kylie Hughes; his Papa and Mimi (Howery); his Aunt Teri (Howery); and cousins, Baylee, Jared, and Cooper Long, and Nevaeh (Douglass); Uncle Rob and Aunt Christina (Howery); and cousins, Amanda and Corrina; and Uncle Roberto (Ruales). By all these and more, Zach will be most severely missed.
A public viewing will be held from 5-8 pm, on Wednesday, December 30th, at Hillier of COLLEGE STATION. Services will be held at 1 pm, on Thursday, December 31st, at Rivergate Church in Bryan, with interment immediately following at Wellborn Community Cemetery. Flowers are welcome, but in lieu you can remember Zach by supporting www.4ocean.com.
