Melanie Anne (Deese) Waggoner, age 44, of Bryan, went to be with her Savior on August 7, 2013. A time for family to receive friends will be from 1:00 – 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Hillier Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Hillier Funeral Home.
Melanie was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 27, 1969 to Jerry and Rebecca Jean (Little) Deese. After her education and skills training, she became an LVN and worked at family practices in Houston and Bryan. In addition to spending time with family and friends, she loved reading books.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Little White; mother-in-law, Janice Waggoner; and her grandparents, Bill and Dorothy Little.
Melanie leaves behind her loving husband of 17 years, Kevin Waggoner; two sons, Tyler Waggoner and Lance Pena; father, Jerry Deese; step-mother, Janice Deese; one brother, Jeff Deese; grandparents, Lucille Deese; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless beloved friends. .
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made at any Citibank location in the name of Tyler Waggoner education benefit fund.
