Elijah Hilton

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Elijah Hilton, a young soul who left us too soon. Elijah was born on March 5, 2007, in Mount Pleasant, Texas, and tragically departed from this world on July 28, 2024.

Elijah's light was evident to all who knew and loved him. Moved to share this light with others, Elijah was baptized on December 12, 2021 into the Kingdom of God. His energetic personality and love for life had the power to light up any room, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. 

Surviving Elijah are his loving mother, Sarah; his dedicated father, Derick; and his cherished sibling, Spencer. Left to continue his legacy, Elijah leaves behind grandparents, Diane Cleland, Randy Brown and Lisa Jackson; Aunts, Mindy Barrow and Casey Collins; Uncles, Hayden Collins and Shane Murphy; Cousins, Logan and Landon Barrow; and Great-grandmother, Bobbie Taylor. Elijah also leaves behind his furry, loyal companion, Oxford.

Elijah is reunited in death by grandfather Richard B. Hilton, grandmother Marsha Brown, great-grandmothers Clovis Brown and Jan McCuller, and great-grandfathers RL McCuller and RL Brown.

In this time of deep sorrow and loss, may we all find comfort in the memories we shared with Elijah and the love that will forever bind us as family together. In his short time with us, Elijah touched the hearts of many with his strong spirit and unwavering loyalty. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten as his memory lives on in the lives of those he loved. May he rest in peace.
