Diann Lopez Brown, A radiant soul was born on March 26th, 1967 in Hearne, TX to parents Ted and Ofelia Lopez. She grew up around 5 brothers and 3 sisters creating memories that would last a lifetime. She loved every one of them deeply. As a mother, Diann’s heart overflowed with an endless love for her two precious children, Monica and Andrew. Though her son Andrew’s passing on July 26th, 1999 left her with a broken heart she continued to speak of him and keep his memory alive every single day. She found peace in the moments they shared. Twenty-five years later on the same day, God called home our sweet Diann and she finally reunited with her son in heaven. In the fall of 2015, Diann found her soulmate, David Brown “Coyote” and sealed their love for one another on December 30th, 2016. Their hearts filled with joy knowing they both found their forever love. Diann’s passions were a testament to her vibrant spirit. Cooking brought her immense pleasure as she was amazing at it. Her kitchen was a warm and welcoming place where she whipped up the most delicious meals.
Each bite brought her family closer together. Watching crime shows and reality TV. Singing her favorite tunes during Karaoke with her best friends, she was known as The Queen of karaoke. She had the voice of an angel. Diann loved riding on the back of her husband’s Harley, her hair blowing in the wind. It was more than just a hobby to her it was a symbol of her free spirit and zest for life. Sometimes they would ride with a group of friends but often it was just the two of them, lost in the freedom of the open road, their love growing with each passing mile. Diann’s life was simply centered around her two favorite people. Her daughter Monica and grandson Alexandrew. She cherished every moment spent with them. Whether it was just watching TV or going to lunch, when she was around those two, she was the happiest. Diann’s courage and faith in the face of adversity inspired all who knew her. She fought a long battle with cancer but never lost sight of her unwavering faith in our Lord. She faced each day with strength and grace leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come. Though Diann has left this earthly realm, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forward the love that she so generously shared.
